WRONG SIZE!

WRONG SIZE!
An earlier review mentioned this being the wrong size, unfortunately I ordered this before that reviewer submitted their review I think. This Bit DOES NOT FIT the head bolts for my 1.8t. I can't say for certain anything about other VW/Audi engines, but I would assume they are using the same bolt heads. Pictured is the OEM VW bit (left) I purchased after checking this bit (right) and finding it did not fit my head bolts. Very very disappointing. Do not buy. Cannot attest to the quality of the bit, but does it really matter if it's impossible to use for the task at hand? Get the OEM VW/Audi bit. It will ultimately save you money not buying this crap, even if it costs an arm and a leg for the genuine German tool.I'm not letting VW off the hook though. This is still all their fault for switching from a regular 12 point to this proprietary bit in 98. It's the cost of that world famous German engineering I suppose.
