I’ll start by saying this was a good replacement motor for my 60+ year Nutone old fan motor. A few areas for improvement-*As mentioned by others, this motor runs hot. After about 15 minutes running it was 150 degrees*If the cord was a half inch longer it would’ve been much easier*There is no printed instructions or specs includedA few things I had to modify -*Added additional rubber washers otherwise it was as loud as a garbage disposal*For my fan model I had to flip the mounting screws*I also had to reverse the direction of the fan to clockwise to vent to my attic, this also required cutting the frame to pull the cord through*The heat tape had moved in several spots and had to be fixed (ie on the outside, fallen off etc)

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Emerson-Pryne replacement
Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2020
Used this to replace a decades old Bathroom fan that stopped working, was even able to use the original brackets from the original motor to install the original fan blades on the new motor shaft! Even the attachment points were the same that attached to the motor housing in the ceiling. I just kinda spitballed that this looked like it would fit, and it did. The only thing that I had to install new was the motor itself., even the power cord was the right length.

If you have to replace a very old bathroom or kitchen fan, I would look into this motor, works fine, fits like it was OEM spec, and its fairly silent, I mean, you can hear it, which is not a flaw for a bathroom fan in my opinion. But it definitely fits into the category of "white noise" when in use.

5.0 out of 5 stars 3.3 Inch Diameter Vent Fan Motor
Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2022
-great little motor, was just what i needed for a 1950's bathroom exhaust fan replacement. 1/4" shaft, 8/32 studs about 2.8" apart,... are reversible if you need them to stick out on the shaft side, CCW rotation (as looking from the shaft side), pretty quiet, moves some air... only reviewing to let you know that if you need CW rotation (like i did), you can take it apart and flip the stator,... very easily done, just have to snip the motor frame to make room for the cord to exit, runs well either way. (another choice would be to replace the fan blade with the opposite rotation [flipping it will Not change wind direction])
