Would have been nice if they had included the two screws in the bottom used to attach it, but no biggie.
Lacking sizing information in the ad, I thought worst case I would drill out the plastic fan to accommodate the d-shaft.
Nope. This is a much larger motor. While there is clearance in the vent dome, you would need to drill out the center hole, add new mounting holes for the screws, go buy 3mm screws (they are not included) and drill out the fan to accept the larger shaft diameter.
Also, this fan motor has cooling vents on the shaft side which will be covered by the mounting plate. So it will likely die an early death.
If you need this fan motor, it seems like a very solid motor. Looks well made. But it's likely not worth trying to save a few bucks avoiding the much .ore expensive OEM motor that is ACTUALLY the right motor.

Motor:
It’s a slightly bigger size than my original, so I had to drill a bigger hole for the main shaft, and drill 2 new holes for the mounting screws. But most importantly, it did NOT come with the mounting screws. And of coarse the threaded holes were a bigger size than my old mounting screws. That ticked me off because I had to drive 15 minutes to the closest hardware store and dig through boxes of screws for 20 minutes before I found the right size. With all of those things combined it turned a seemingly simple job into a slight pain in the ass that I was not expecting and didn’t really have time for.
Oh, and the wire that had a teeny tiny bit of solder holding it onto the the new motor broke off in the first 1 minute of handling it. I had to find some electrical connectors that would fit over the male spade on the back of the motor rather than solder it back on, which is what they should have done in the first place, and was how the old one was.
With all that said, it’s slightly bigger and seems well built (besides the broken solder connection on the back). And it’s definitely more powerful than my old one.
