My only concern is how long will it last out in the weather.
It took a while to set up and I had to put up a 27 foot pole to install it on.
I believe it was a good value for the price. I listen to 160, 80,40,20 and 17 meter.
Yes it works real good on 160 also. I am very pleased with the antenna. But I did use an antenna tuner
to tune it on the Ham radio.

The antenna is ready to go out of the box. You can see from the picture the solder joints are not protected and will likely weather more easily. As others have said, the wire can kink easily. That goes with pretty much any larger diameter wire. I would have preferred a solid core insulated wire. Be careful as you're unpacking it, take your time. That's what why I subtracted one star. An antenna that's ready to go for the price, ain't bad.
I cut a slit in a 2" PVC pipe to accommodate the silicone disc at the feed point and ran the ladder line down the pipe that acts as the center support. There's a hole at the top of the feed point disk that I ran a rope through and tied it through the PVC support pole to hold it down (like a chin strap). This setup has been through 60mph winds and the disc hasn't shown any signs of stress or wear.
I am very happy with it install it as high as you can I hung it at 70 feet on one end and 65 feet at the far end from tall pines. This works. Great as all bands have good low take off angles.
Next the 450 ohm lead attached to the antenna is 32 feet long. From the radio perspective this is a great application, but this material is kind of brittle and you need to support it. It also attaches in the middle of the antenna wire where you have to get it to a radio. For me the place where the lead attached was close to the front of my house so I put up a piece of pvc electircal conduit , made some stand off's out of pvc pipe and while twisting the lead a to eliminate interference form metal along the rout got the lead to a place where I can then attach RG8X coax then to the radio. This antenna is radiant in several bands, but not all the way so you get the best use using an antenna tuner. This does not make the antenna better, but protects your radio from reflected power. I am new ham and I have learned a lot by doing this. It is not an easy slam bam setup. It does work and you can hear and communicate long distances. Just make sure you have space and a plan for where you will attach it. You can fudge a bit by either sloping, inverted V or drooping the ends. The closer to the instructions, You need to look for the instructions online, you install this the better it works. Nothing is perfect.
