I’m 59 and my cholesterol was 268 and has been high for years. I said “no way” to statins because I know too many people who have terrible side effects ( like barely being able to walk). My doctor recommended Natures Plus as a specific brand and said she has patients who have had success. I’m one of them! After 3 months it went down to 153. I do also take berberine with it as she recommended. ( I have since reduced the amount of berberine and still have excellent numbers). My doc also said you MUST take COQ10 along with it. No negative side effects whatsoever. I know taking these supplements cost more than a statin pill, but I’ll gladly pay more to be able to run, skip and jump!
