When a merchant places an item on AMAZON and describes its features, they owe the customer a fair description of its capabilities and shortcomings. This printer along with several other similar ones simply wouldn't work with my iPad or iPhone even though it was advertised to be ios compatible. In conversation with Customer Service, they could only offer that "you get what you pay for." This meant apparently that if you want an inexpensive device you have to be prepared to take junk. It's all the fault of the Chinese manufacturer and not the U.S. company selling it. I simp;ly won't buy from this company again!
