Don't worry about quality because it's not cheesy. Yes, it's durable and higher quality than one might expect. It's not really a gag gift, rather it's an affordable accent for your vehicle.
Install- It arrives in a very sturdy heavy plastic zip lock type bag. The standard size was correct for a 2010 Mercedes and you can locate the perfect size for your vehicle before buying.
Just do you know, it's supposed to be a little difficult to place on the steering wheel as it's extremely important for safety and functionality during driving. You wouldn't want one that goes on too easily or without effort because you'll need to have the ability to grip firmly and functionally when driving.
Start placing at top or side of the steering wheel. Place a portion, about 1/8th the circumference over the steering wheel. I basically did a small area and used a medium screwdriver to help allow the material to grip onto the wheel. Work your way around until you're finished. I actually was sitting in the driver's seat for the first 2/3 of placement and then to stretch it a little I got out of the car and pulled towards me. It won't break but and has little give which is good. This allowed for me to get back into the seat and more result attach the remainder exactly as I wanted it to be.
It looks INCREDIBLY good and it won't hurt your hands but will provide likely better grip than you had without a cover.
I hope this was helpful and the video helpful too!
