I bought bluetooth version and it works great, sound is clear, not excellent but clear enough.. anyway this is not a hundred plus dollars car stereo..
Some remarks: It is built on a YD7377 power amplifier, so it really handles maximun 6 watts RMS (Real voltage versus current wattage) per channel, anyway this is enough sound if you just want the music for yourself and not pedestrians.
It also got hot enough, it stands a maximum 85 celsius degrees but the colder it works, the longer it will live, so i added an extra temperature dissipator.
I've noticed bluetooth once stopped working and it was because i realized cell phone bluetooth must be disconnected prior turning off your car... When this happened it paired correctly, but no music came out so the car's battery should be disconnected, and that way this stereo resets and bluetooth worked fine again.
So despite these little flaws, it still works great for me, if i had to buy it again, then im sure ill do it.

The Good:
The metal cage fit in my 2000 protege. Unit does not wobble around.
Bluetooth works just like I expect it to. No drop outs or anything.
Easy to install. Readable instructions (lots of typos, not written by an English speaker)
Auto Favorites. Like 18 settable favorites on FM. F1P1 to F3P6
The no so great:
When turning off my car there is some weird sounds as it slowly loses power, unsure if that is my car or the radio.
Some of the functions seem rather difficult to pull off while driving, like navigating the SD card, but really I just use FM and Bluetooth
I wouldn't use it for calls when driving because there is no external microphone. but the calls I did in the driveway sounded okay.
The bad:
Sound is severely distorted at high volume levels, but I am unsure if that is the radio or the factory speakers. But in reality it beats no sound at all.
Also, when the music was working and I tried to take a call, it doesn't automatically pause the music, so that feature is pretty much useless anyways as "hands-free" calling still makes me pick up my phone to pause.
A lot of other reviewers have mentioned a tendency to catch fire/start smoking. I haven't had that happen (yet) but I have noticed the unit gets ridiculously hot. I have it sitting in the bottom of a double-din opening so I can lay my hand on the entire top of the unit and there's a lot of heat from such a simple device.
There's also a low whine/hum at all times when no audio is playing, even when the radio is off. I'll admit this could be my fault because of bad wiring, but all required connections work correctly and I covered up the unused wires so I'm not sure.
Also the way the thing works in general is just stupid. Instead of showing the clock, it'll show useless information about your audio source. If you're connected to bluetooth the screen will just say bT. So I have to check my watch anyway.
To close, I would say- don't risk purchasing this. I decided to go for it because I'm on a tight budget, and now I have to deal with the return process, find another radio, and go without music again for probably another week. Just stay away from this, it isn't worth it. Spend a little more on a known brand that, while low end, is at least reliably low end.
Update: I ended up keeping it because I just used it for the aux port. The plastic face is made of such cheap materials that it melted off.
