Product Description

1

YHTAUTO oil pan products are divided into engine oil pan and transmission oil pan. The engine oil pan is attached to the bottom of the engine with bolts and is the reservoir for oil that gets pumped throughout the engine to lubricate, clean and cool moving parts. The transmission oil pan keeps your transmission fluid safe and reliable. When you turn off the vehicle, the oil pan can be used as a sump. Over time, the oil pan may fail due to the extreme hood conditions during your ride. To solve this problem, you'd better get a good replacement oil pan immediately.

Damaged or Malfunctioning Performance---Transmission Oil Pan

1

2

1

When you are driving a car, the oil pan of the gearbox is susceptible to damage from all loose rocks and debris on the road.

At the bottom of the transmission pan is a plug for when the fluid needs to be drained out of the system. If this plug is not properly secured, the fluid will excrete out of it.

The gasket on your transmission pan can become damaged or cracked due to bad gasket alignment during the previous install, or constant exposure to hot temperatures.

General Instruction on How to Replace the Oil Pan

3. Remove the mounting bolts and drain the oil.

4.Using the socket, and loosen the old pan.

5.Remove the existing oil pan. Use a clean rag to remove any metal debris.

6. Run a bead of the sealant used to hold the fiber gasket to the new oil pan and install the gasket.

7.Make sure the holes for the bolts in the gasket and pan match each other and then install.
